Nottingham Forest player ratings vs Burnley

Matz Sels – 6

The Belgian goalkeeper had very little to do and was powerless to prevent the heavily deflected goal which Burnley scored in the second half.

Gonzalo Montiel – 6

Took a whack to the head early doors but stayed composed and did okay in what looks like being his last Forest performance.

Willy Boly – 7

Won a fair share of headers and now Forest will have a decision whether to hand him a contract extension or not.

Murillo – 8

Popped up in the final third on a number of occasions and was unfortunate not to get his first Forest goal.

Harry Toffolo – 7

Produced a brilliant block in the first half to deny an almost certain goal and did well in deputising for Ola Aina.

Ryan Yates – 7

Was forced off early in the second half with what looked like a minor injury problem. Did well during his time on the pitch, however.

Danilo – 5

Not the Brazilian’s best game it has to be said but he did try hard even when things weren’t going his way.

Anthony Elanga – 7

Did superbly well for the first goal to assist Chris Wood but did fluff some chances that came his way late on.

Morgan Gibbs-White – 7

Another classy performance from the 24-year-old and keeping hold of him this summer looks like proving hard work.

Callum Hudson-Odoi – 6

Not quite at his best during today’s game but much like the otherForest attackers, he did put a real shift in once again.

Chris Wood – 8

Scored two goals and was a constant threat in the final third. He was denied a hat-trick after being replaced late on.

Substitutions

Ibrahim Sangare – 6

Replaced Yates and one conundrum for Espirito Santo this summer will be to try ad get the best out of the Ivorian.

Taiwo Awoniyi – N/A

Moussa Niakhate – N/A

Cheikhou Kouyate – N/A

Rodrigo Ribeiro – N/A
