Saudi Pro clubs are trying to sign 'unbelievable' striker who Arsenal reportedly want - Romano

It has just come to light, that Saudi Pro League clubs are trying to sign an Arsenal target, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Arsenal missed out on the Premier League title by two points, with Manchester City winning it for the fourth time in a row – a new record in English football.

Despite showing plenty of improvement, particularly mentally, The Gunners ended the season without any silverware to show for it.

That’ll provide Mikel Arteta plenty to think about over the summer as club chiefs draw up transfer plans for the fast-approaching window.

With that said, one target is wanted by two Saudi Pro League sides.

Saudi Pro League clubs want Arsenal target Benjamin Sesko

RB Leipzig forward Benjamin Sesko has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal this summer transfer window.

The ‘incredible’ 20-year-old striker has enjoyed a marvellous season for the Bundesliga outfit, netting 18 goals whilst laying on two assists.

Sesko netted in seven league games in a row to end the campaign, helping Leipzig to finish fourth, thus qualifying for the Champions League.

Now, he is subjected to interest from two clubs in Saudi Arabia and they’ve already proposed two offers, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The transfer specialist further noted that Sesko has no intention of moving to Saudi.

Benjamin Sesko’s demands may rise

With the two Saudi clubs submitting two offers, Sesko’s personal demands may rise.

It’s likely he’s been offered a substantial package to make the move, so his agent may reference that in any forthcoming talks with Arsenal.

Whilst Sesko is certainly a cheaper alternative to Alexander Isak for instance, the total package will still require a significant sum of money.
