Newcastle United fans can’t wait to see the Magpies’ new home, away and third kits for the 2024/25 season and here are predictions of when they could be released.
Things might not have gone as planned for Newcastle United this past season but they are already looking brighter for the forthcoming campaign just because of the kits the team could wear.
Excitement is reaching a fever pitch among the Magpies fan base as Adidas will be the club’s new kit manufacturer starting from next season.
A deal between the Magpies and the famous sportswear brand was announced in September 2023 and supporters have been eagerly anticipating what they will come up with ever since.
Adidas have taken over from Castore after Newcastle ended that agreement early over complaints about poor jersey quality, according to The Telegraph.
Adidas were Newcastle’s kit manufacturer for 15 years between 1995-2010, creating some of the Premier League’s most iconic shirts.
It’s no surprise fans can’t wait to see what they’ll produce this time and TBR has predicted when we could see the new designs.
When does the new Newcastle home kit come out?
It is not yet known when the new home kit will be unveiled and released to the public.
However, Adidas’ partnership with Newcastle does not begin until June 24, according to the Chronicle, so it almost certainly won’t be before then.
Leaked images of the kit suggest a slick black and white home shirt reminiscent of kits worn in the early 2000s.
When does the new Newcastle away kit come out?
Likewise, it is not yet known when the new away kit will be unveiled but it will likely be after June 24.
Last year’s away kit was revealed on June 30, three weeks after the home kit was officially launched by Castore on June 9.
If Adidas don’t reveal both new kits in one simultaneous launch to announce their arrival in style, it at least doesn’t seem like there will be too long to wait.
If reports are to be believed, the new away shirt will be heavily inspired by the famous burgundy and navy hoop kit of the 1995-96 season, which is certain to go down well.
When does the new Newcastle third kit come out?
It’s also not yet known when next season’s new third kit will be revealed. Last season’s third kit was released several weeks after the away shirt on July 21 so a similar gap could be expected this year.
Reports suggest the kit will be prominently white with black and mint green detailing, closely resembling the away shirt of the 1999-00 season.
It’s also suggested the club badge of the 1980s could be used on the kit as well.
