Russian troops shell police car during evacuation in Kharkiv region

Today, May 21, Russian forces shelled a car carrying a policeman in the Kharkiv region. He was on his way to evacuate civilians, according to Volodymyr Tymoshko, the Head of the Main Department of the National Police in Kharkiv region.

It is noted that an employee of the Vovchansk police department came under attack today. He was on his way to pick up people who were waiting for evacuation.

"He didn't make it. An enemy FPV attacked the police car," Tymoshko wrote.

According to him, the police officer is alive but suffered a concussion. He also added that the people were successfully evacuated.

Russian troops are advancing in the northern part of the Kharkiv region, so the Ukrainian authorities are trying to quickly evacuate civilians from dangerous areas.
