Jamie O'Hara posts comment mocking Arsenal immediately after Manchester United's FA Cup win

Manchester United were the FA Cup winners this afternoon as they defied the odds to beat rivals Man City at Wembley and Jamie O’Hara has used it as a chance to mock Arsenal.

Goals from Alejandro Garnacho and then Marcus Rashford were enough for United to hold off City, who got one back late on through Jeremy Doku.

For United, it means they’ve not only found a route into Europe but have also won a trophy, something not many teams manage to actually do in a season.

As we know, that means that they’ve managed to do something Arsenal have failed to do in the last two years, despite Mikel Arteta’s side coming so close in the Premier League race.

And unable to resist a dig at the Gunners, former Tottenham midfielder and now pundit, Jamie O’Hara, has took his chance to mock Arsenal over on X.

Would Arsenal swap a trophy for second place Premier League finish?

There’s arguments to be made on both sides here really.

On one hand, Arsenal were just a win away from being the top team in the league and it was only due to Man City’s brilliance that they fell short.

Still, it was a brilliant season for the Gunners and marks good progress overall.

However, the game is also about winning and at the end of the day, winning trophies at Wembley is about as good as it gets.

Yes, Manchester United’s season in the league was poor. But at the end of it all, they’ve got a place in Europe and a trophy to boot as well.

Quite whether Arsenal fans or Mikel Arteta would swap that second placed finish for winning the FA Cup like United have, is open to debate.

But it is United who will get the nice night out in celebration tonight, while Arsenal’s players are already well into their summer break with no medals to show for it.
