Jadon Sancho sends message to Manchester United star after FA Cup Final win

Manchester United’s players have ended the 2023/24 season with a trophy after beating Manchester City at Wembley.

There were joyful scenes of celebration at Wembley on the pitch and in the dressing room as the players let out their emotions after an extremely difficult season.

This was the second trophy Manchester United have won in as many seasons, following the 2023 Carabao Cup Final win over Newcastle.

One of the players involved that day was winger Jadon Sancho. After a public fallout with Erik ten Hag, he was sent out on loan to Borussia Dortmund, where he is now remarkably heading for the Champions League Final at Wembley next weekend.

Sancho reacts to Manchester United win

Manchester United fans feel like Jadon Sancho turned his back on the team after refusing to apologise to Erik ten Hag.

Sancho is enjoying another fresh start at Dortmund, but he is not completely closed off towards United’s end of season success.

One of his close pals is Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who he waspictured in New York with earlier this year.

Wan-Bissaka posted on Instagram after Manchester United’s victory, with a simple word: “United!! ❤️🏆”.

The right-back received a number of responses from teammates past and present, including a ‘heart emoji’ from Sancho, paying tribute to the defender’s performance and achievement.

Wan-Bissaka delivers against City again

Aaron Wan-Bissaka has forged a bit of a reputation as a big game player, and contributed in an important way to the Carabao Cup Final win, keeping Allan Saint-Maximin quiet.

Against City in the FA Cup Final, he was tasked with nullifying the tricky Jeremy Doku, and executed his job pretty well.

Doku did score late on, a shot Andre Onana really should have saved, but it was too late to make any real impact on the game, with Manchester United seeing the game out for the victory.
