'No way back' for feuding TV stars but sweet moment sees them put drama aside for kids

Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice have been feuding for years. As The Real Housewives of New Jersey enters season 14, some of the cast members think there’s “no going back” for the ladies. Thankfully, it looks like their kids can put the beef aside and be amicable with one another.

Teresa Giudice, her brother, Joe Gorga, and his wife, Melissa Gorga, have issues that go back decades. As Teresa enjoys her relationship with Luis Ruelas, and Melissa and Joe are in their twentieth year of marriage, it seems the Real Housewives of New Jersey ladies aren’t planning on repairing their relationship any time soon. Dolores Catania agreed she doesn’t see the sister-in-law making amends and even shared how she “cried” over the fights in season 14.

Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice’s kids

Teresa and Melissa’s years-long feud is showing no signs of stopping.

Despite the beef between the ladies, their kids are managing to keep things amicable as cousins.

During RHONJ season 14 episode 4, when Melissa, Joe, and their son, Joey, arrive at the charity softball game, they bump into Teresa and Gia Giudice, writes Bravo.

Teresa and Melissa weren’t on talking terms, but Melissa encouraged Joey to be kind to his aunt.

She said: “Go give your aunt a kiss hello.”

Joey went and gave his aunt a hug and she kissed him on the cheek.

Gia and Joey also hugged, showing the family can put some things behind them for the sake of their kids.

‘Might as well stop asking’

Just over a year ago, Melissa was telling Sherri how her relationship with Teresa was “extremely sad” and she “didn’t know” whether the two were going to “make up.”

She described the scenario as “super toxic,” but didn’t appear to have drawn a line under everything for good.

However, things have clearly changed between the sisters-in-law.

This May, Julia Fox told Andy Cohen she thinks he should “step in” and encourage Teresa and Melissa to make up.

But, despite people wanting the two to be friends, Melissa says people “might as well stop asking.”

Melissa said: “The gloves are off, the masks are off. There’s no relationship. You might as well stop asking, it’s not happening anymore.

“I just want to be totally honest. It’s so over.”

The mom of three went as far as to say she’d “rather relive stripper gate, be thrown in the pool by Marge, and hang out with Kim D” than spend time with her sister-in-law.”
