At one time, there was talk of Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor getting back together. But, it seems their break up has officially turned sour as Brittany admits she “can’t be in the same room” as her ex “for very long.”
The Valley stars were married for four years and share a son together, Cruz. The two met many moons ago when Jax was a Vanderpump Rules season 3 cast member and Brittany worked at Hooters. They haven’t always had the smoothest ride of a relationship. But, they ended up getting engaged in 2018 and married a year later. Sadly, almost 10 years on from their first meeting, the two are in the midst of a rocky road to Splitsville.

Brittany and Jax are one of Vanderpump Rules’ best-known couples.
The two are now starring in The Valley. But, with break-ups happening across the board on the new Bravo show, it’s hardly a celebration of adulthood for the former Pump Rules stars.
Nowadays, Brittany and Jax are in the middle of their break-up, which, naturally, is messy, given they are married and have a house together.
This May, Jax was spotted grabbing lunch with Paige Woolen, reports People.
Back in April, People also reported how the couple’s two-year-old son is caught in the middle of their separation. Brittany exclusively told the outlet how she and her son were “staying in Airbnbs because Jax didn’t want to leave the house.”
“He’s still at the house… And I’ve been staying in different Airbnbs for months at a time.
“Trust me, I told him he could stay in the Airbnb that I pay for… But he doesn’t want to leave the house. So, it’s tough. But I still go back to the house whenever he isn’t there.”
The Valley star ‘can’t be in same room’
According to Brittany’s latest podcast episode, things have gone from bad to worse with her ex.
Speaking to her guest, Tom Schwartz, on the show’s May 24 episode, Brittany explained how she and Jax “aren’t great.”
She said: “Right now, I’m kind of like, I can’t even be in the same room with him very long…”
Brittany added how their split is “up and down.”
