TV star sticks up for 'footballer' brother as controversial clip circulates

Love Island 2024 contestant, Harriet Blackmore, has been spotted in a viral video reportedly sticking up for her brother, Henry. She claims he’s a “Premier League footballer” in a controversial clip.

Harriet Blackmore is one of several Love Island contestants hoping to find love in the 2024 villa. She has been spotted in a TikTok video where she asks someone filming to give their phone to her. The clip has gone viral after she was recently named as one of the new Islanders for the hit ITV show. However, it is not clear when it was recorded.

Harriet Blackmore’s brother is a ‘Premier League footballer’

Harriet Blackmore has two brothers, Joel and Henry Blackmore. She also has a heavenly sibling called Reece Rowland, a “much-loved man” who sadly died in November 2015.

She was recently seen in a video defending her brother on a night out with friends, in which she repeatedly stated his job. Harriet claimed he’s a footballer who should not be filmed.

He’s not her only link to fame, though, as Harriet is best friends with YouTuber, Saffron Barker, and is an “IT girl in Brighton” who works as a personal shopper for rapper, Arrdee.

Harriet’s brother, Henry Blackmore, is a Premier League footballer who signed with Whitehawk. Described as a “hugely talented defender,” he made his debut for Whitehawk in October 2020.

He currently plays for Peacehaven and Telecombs Football Club as a defender and is followed by Harriet on Instagram. Both Henry, called the “baby of the family,” and Harriet are close siblings.

Tragic loss of sibling years ago

Harriet’s sibling, Reece Rowland, died eight years ago, writes The Argus. Reece Rowland died in his sleep after taking a mixture of heroin and cocaine known as a speedball, the inquest at Brighton Coroner’s Court heard.

Reece was described by friends after he died as a “one-off” who was loved by everyone. The 26-year-old was found dead at his home in Hertford Road, Brighton, on November 21, 2015.

His mother, Kim Blackmore, says the family’s lives “have never been the same since”. She calls Reece his sibling’s “hero” who was always “a loving, funny, and unique brother”.

Reality Tidbit has approached ITV and Blackmore’s representatives for comment.
