There’s now a 4th place to buy lottery tickets online in N.J.

Lottery players in New Jersey now have a fourth option for purchasing tickets online.

Jackpot.com launched in the state on May 1 with gamblers able to purchase New Jersey Lottery tickets on the company’s website or through its app.

Jackpot.com is not to be confused with Jackpocket, which works basically the same way. The other licensed lottery couriers in the state are The Lotter, which launched in March, and Lotto.com.

Players who win $600 or less with a ticket bought on Jackpot.com will have the money deposited into their accounts. If someone wins a larger prize, Jackpot.com says it will deliver the ticket to the winner, who will then have to claim the money through the New Jersey Lottery.

Lottery players in New Jersey can also still buy tickets the old-fashioned way — in person at any licensed retailer.

Jackpot.com is available in six states — New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, Arkansas, Ohio and Texas.

Among its investors are former Devils goalie Martin Brodeur and the Tisch family, which co-own the Giants.

Editor’s note: The story and headline have been updated to correct that there are four online lottery options in New Jersey.
