Man Stabbed in Both Legs With Machete in Busy Times Square

A man was reportedly stabbed with a machete in both legs in Times Square on Thursday afternoon.

It happened near a McDonald's according to the New York Post.

The FDNY said it got a call about a reported stabbing at West 45th Street and Broadway around 10 a.m., WNBC-TV reported.

Three men were seen running away after the attack. Several people were taken into custody Sixth Avenue and West 52nd Street and 660 Fifth Avenue, according to WABC.

EMS took the victim to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition. He was expected to survive.
