TAMPA, Fla. \- A 22-year-old Tampa woman was struck and killed in a crash that happened at 3:22 am on Friday.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a Nissan Maxima driven by a 41-year-old Tampa man was traveling westbound on US-92 (E Hillsborough Ave).
Troopers say a pedestrian walked across the street at the intersection of Orient Road and into the path of the Nissan.

The vehicle struck the pedestrian, a 22-year-old Tampa woman, who suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
