'I don't care what anyone says': Micah Richards says he loves one Tottenham man, he's 'class'

Micah Richards has heaped praise on one man at Tottenham and has claimed that he absolutely loves him.

Spurs finished the 2023/24 season in fifth. That felt a bit underwhelming in the end because they won just two of their last seven games, but overall, they had a good season.

Tottenham have a lot of positives to take into the summer, and if they get their transfers right, they will likely break into the top four next term.

Micah Richards sends message to people who are being negative about Ange Postecoglou

Tottenham appointed Ange Postecoglou as their new manager in the summer of 2023.

The Australian arrived when Spurs were in a mess. They had just gone through a disastrous season that saw them have three different bosses at the helm – Antonio Conte, Cristian Stellini and Ryan Mason.

There were a lot of doubts over whether Postecoglou could turn things around at Tottenham, but the 58-year-old silenced all of his doubters very quickly.

Postecoglou completely transformed Spurs, and they looked nothing like the boring side from the previous campaign.

That lifted the atmosphere at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and most fans are fully behind their side now every single week.

However, there are still a few who are being a bit negative about Postecoglou. Micah Richards has sent a message to them.

He said on the Rest is Football podcast: “Postecoglou is class, I don’t care what anyone says, they can have all the negativity in the world.

“I love his football, I love his interviews, I love how honest he is, heart on the sleeves sort of thing. He has done a brilliant job this year.”

Postecoglou broke a Premier League record in his debut season

Tottenham were a breath of fresh air at the start of the 2023/24 season.

Gone were the days of negative football that would put you to sleep. Postecoglou made them one of the most attractive sides to watch in the Premier League, and results were going their way too.

The Premier League released the 2023/24 record book recently, and Postecoglou, in his very first season, made history with Tottenham.

The league’s official website wrote: “Ange Postecoglou won 26 points from his first 30 available, with eight wins and two draws.

“It’s the most Premier League points secured by a manager in their first 10 matches in the competition.”

Tottenham fans are excited to see what Postecoglou can do in his second season. If it’s anything like the start of the 2023/24 campaign, it’s going to be a fun ride for Spurs supporters.
