Report: West Ham have now made a move to sign £26m player Arsenal have agreed terms with

West Ham United are never quiet when it comes to a transfer window and it looks like they might have made a move for an Arsenal target.

The Hammers are looking to crack on quickly this summer and are set for a new era under Julen Lopetegui, who has replaced David Moyes in the hotseat.

Last summer, West Ham made some smart moves by signing the likes of Mohammed Kudus, Edson Alvarez, and James Ward-Prowse, all of who proved a success.

However, new manager Lopetegui wants more new faces.

And according to reports from Turkey, the Hammers have made a move for one of Europe’s most in-demand left-backs.

West Ham make approach to sign Ferdi Kadioglu

According to a report from Fotospor, West Ham have made their move to sign the left-back.

The Hammers, along with the likes of Porto and Napoli, are believed to have ‘knocked on the door’ of Fenerbahce in a bid to sign the left-back.

Kadioglu has had a superb season with the Turkish giants playing at left-back and is very much seen as a player who can go onto bigger and better things.

Of course, West Ham’s interest comes amid reports that Kadioglu has already agreed to join Arsenal.

Reports from Turkey suggested Kadioglu had met with the Gunners and even agreed on terms to sign.

Kadioglu a man in-demand

You’re not doing bad really if you are getting this sort of interest and media interest so early in the summer.

For Kadioglu, who is valued at around the £26m mark, it means there’s a big chance of sealing a move this summer to a huge club.

Of course, we shouldn’t count West Ham out here at all. They’ve shown in the past they can get big deals over the line and the draw of being in London is attractive for players.

Kadioglu, then, seems to have plenty of options to choose from and where he ends up, as of now, looks to be anyone’s guess.
