Chelsea are already one of the busiest teams this summer as they close on their new manager and their first new signing.

Leicester City boss Enzo Marseca has agreed terms to take charge at Stamford Bridge succeeding Mauricio Pochettino – who departed his role once the season had finished.

Maresca is set to be confirmed in the coming days, at which point he could also be welcoming his first new signing.

Tosin Adarabioyo agrees personal terms on move to Chelsea

HITC can reveal that Tosin Adarabioyo is close to finalising a move to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea sources have now confirmed to HITC that personal terms have been agreed verbally and that the player is due for a medical in the coming week.

The 26-year-old has been offered what is described as a ‘long-term’ contract to move across West London from Chelsea’s nearest neighbours Fulham – where he spent four-years, after arriving from Manchester City.

HITC exclusively revealed last month that Chelsea had entered the race to land Adarabioyo – as they looked to beat Newcastle United to his signature.

Adarabioyo’s representatives had been in talks with Newcastle United and agreed terms for him to move to St James’ Park some weeks ago – but he never finalised the deal.

HITC broke the news on Saturday that Newcastle were ready to withdraw their interest after it emerged his talks with Chelsea were progressing.

Adarabioyo was also of interest to Manchester United, but they could not progress with a deal as they are still undergoing their end of season review which will determine whether Erik Ten Hag remains as manager.
