TAMPA, Fla. \- A man and woman are dead, and a suspect is in custody after a shooting on Saturday afternoon.
On Saturday, at approximately 1:15 p.m., officers responded to the 1100 block of Ray Charles Blvd in reference to two subjects, one adult male and one adult female, who had been shot.
When officers arrived, they located both victims with upper body trauma. Both victims were pronounced deceased at the scene.

"Based on the preliminary investigation, all parties involved were known to each other," said Tampa Police PIO Verliz Williams.
The suspect believed to be involved has been taken into custody, and the weapon was recovered on scene.
There is no threat to the community or other residents in the area, police say.
