If actress Sofia Vergara, 51, wasn’t already known across the globe for her Modern Family stardom, then many people will recognize her from America’s Got Talent. She sits on the judging panel alongside Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, and Simon Cowell as all kinds of acts leave them “speechless” and in awe.
Sofia Vergara slashes price by millions
After finalizing her divorce in February, Sofia has now sold her seven-bedroom Beverly Hills home, writes Robb Report.
Two years ago, Sofia put the 11,369-square-foot mansion on the market at $19.6 million
She’s now sold the property for $13.7 million, after cutting her price by almost $6 million.
The mansion comes complete with a 3,000-bottle wine cellar, a gym and sauna, and a movie theater.
AGT star’s new venture
Although AGT judge Sofia lost out on a potential $6 million in her house sale, it appears her work isn’t slowing down any time soon.
Her son, Manolo Gonzalez Vergara, is the host of an all-new Roku show – Celebrity Family Food Battle.
Sofia appears as a guest on the cooking show alongside her son. He revealed he’d never seen his mom crack an egg at 32 years old.
She explained on Jimmy Kimmel Live how she never cooked for her son in his childhood as she was 19 when she had him. She said: “Listen, I was a single mother, first of all, I was 19 when I had him, what else do you want from me?”
Manolo gave some insight into what fans can expect from the cooking competition series this June: “Two celebrity families face off in two rounds and both teams get money for charity so there’s a winner but really everybody wins.”
Two judges, Fariyal Abdullahi and Kalen Allen, appear on the show alongside host Manolo.
