That star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame might not be as out of reach for Kim Kardashian as she first expected as she’s cast in Variety’s Actors on Actors. Kim is known for wearing many hats. She studies law, is a mom of four, she’s a reality star, and runs a billion-dollar empire. Now, she’s mingling with the likes of Jennifer Aniston and Robert Downey Jr and some people aren’t happy.
As an all-new Kardashians season airs on Hulu this May, Kim and her family are in the spotlight once again. But, then again, when aren’t they? The Kar-Jenners are always taking their careers to new heights with Kendall Jenner the world’s highest-paid model, and Kim’s SKIMS brand gets more attention than Rihanna’s Fenty line. Now, Kim’s step into the world of acting is clearly paying off with her Variety Actors on Actors casting.

Last year, Kim Kardashian’s casting in American Horror Story sent shockwaves across the intenret.
While some AHS fans were furious at her casting as a reality TV star – and not a ‘real’ actor, Kimmy’s fanbase was over the moon at such a huge achievement.
The Kardashians viewers are given a glimpse into what it was like for Kim preparing for her role of Siobhan Corbyn.
She’s seen on set with Emma Roberts and works around the clock to rehearse her lines.
Now, Kim is set to sit down with another star of the Ryan Murphy universe, Chloë Sevigny, on Variety’s Actors on Actors.
The two are set to “share notes on working with one of TV’s most influential showrunners,” writes Variety.
Kim will star in this year’s season 20 which airs on Peacock. From June 3, one conversation a day will air on Variety’s until June 14.
Kim’s Actors on Actors move infuriates fans
While Kim shares her hopes of landing herself a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame one day, it seems some people are keen to take her down a notch.
Taking to X (Twitter) over the news Kim landed a spot on Variety’s Actors on Actors, one person said: “Why are they letting Kim Kardashian pay her way into whatever she wants?”
More suggested she’s not on actress and model Chloë Sevigny’s “level,” and others questioned why the Kardashians star was cast.
Another tweeted: “Imagine you finally get picked to be on actors on actors just to look across from you and see Kim Kardashian.”
However, there are also many fans of Kim’s who are taking to their keyboards to support her.
One said: “Kim is more than legit to be on ‘actors vs actors’ yall can remain mad but she’s there period.”
Another wrote in response to some calling the move “disrespectful,”: “She’s been acting since 2008, y’all are now just catching on.”
And, Kim’s fans wouldn’t be too far wrong as the star does have acting credits dating back to 2004.
Yes, she may have landed her first credit appearing in Christina Milian’s Dip It Low Music video, but she went on to star in Disaster Movie in 2008, and How I Met Your Mother a year later.
More recently, Kim starred in Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor, Ocean’s Eight, and voiced the character of Delores in PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie last year.
