Supporters of Alan Hudson Centre in Wisbech raised more than £2,000 following fire walk challenge

Supporters of the Alan Hudson Day Treatment Centre felt the heat as they took on a fundraising challenge.

On Friday, all nine participants dived into the fire walk challenge feet first to raise vital funds for the centre, which delivers palliative care, rehabilitation services, and pain management, free of charge.

Two nurses from the centre, Claire Walpole and Sarah Grimwood, as well as Libby Albutt, Ryan McManus, Kate Bell, and Nicole Scott who all have personal reasons to support the cause, Tesco community champion Julie Busby and Nikki and Regan from Sunlounger Travel in Wisbech, collectively raised more than £2,000 for the centre.
