Fulham ready Eddie Nketiah bid as Arsenal eye Benjamin Sesko transfer

Fulham are showing interest in a potential move for Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah in the summer transfer window.

That’s according to The Sun, which claims that The Cottagers are willing to pay up to £30million for the Hale End Academy graduate in the coming weeks.

Nketiah started just ten games in the Premier League last season, making the majority of his appearances as a substitute.

With the 25-year-old struggling for game time, there have naturally been questions surrounding his future at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal told to sign Victor Osimhen in summer transfer deal

With the summer window likely to focus on a high-profile striker signing at Arsenal, plenty of rumours continue to surround any potential deal.

One of those is Victor Osimhen, who has impressed in the past two seasons at Napoli on both the domestic and European front.

With those links appearing, former Premier League goalkeeper Shaka Hislop has urged the Gunners to make their move for the Nigerian international.

Speaking on ESPN FC, he said: “Without question, the first order of business is signing that style of finisher, and Osimhen ticks all the boxes that Arsenal need.”

Osimhen scored 15 goals in 25 appearances for Napoli last season, despite the Azzurri struggling to defend their Serie A title – finishing tenth in the division.

It remains to be seen whether Arsenal will make their move for Osimhen and exactly how much Napoli could demand for his services.

Arsenal handed major William Saliba boost

This summer hosts a packed-out football fixture list that will see some Arsenal stars jet off to represent their nation in international competitions.

The European Championships and the Copa America will be centre-stage for many as the best national teams in the world face off.

While Arsenal fans will want their star players to impress in the weeks ahead, there will also be a hope that none of them pick up any injury concerns before the new season starts.

Fortunately for the Gunners, the announcement of the French Olympic football team brought about good news.

Key defender William Saliba won’t be featuring for Thierry Henry’s side in late July, allowing the Frenchman to rest following the Euros campaign.

The 23-year-old played every minute of the Premier League campaign last season, making up part of the best defence in the division – conceding just 29 goals in 38 games.

Saliba’s presence in the backline has been felt since he made his way into the team under Arteta.

The France international’s injury coincided with a collapse in form over the 2022/23 season, further revealing exactly why his lack of involvement in the Olympics this summer comes as a boost.
