Sitting down for a chat with Jeff and Shane Douglas, Adrienne, who shares her children with Botched‘s Dr Paul Nassif, recounts the terrifying moment from her past.
Adrienne Maloof’s son was ‘almost kidnapped’ when he was a baby
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alums are bringing out all kinds of surprise stories this June.

Now, Adrienne recounts a time when her son was “almost kidnapped” as a baby.
Detailing the “scary” event, the Bravo star explained: “It happened to me at Neiman Marcus.”
She continued: “My baby. My nanny and I were there and security was over further away and this lady came up, and my son was crying, and she actually took him out of my nanny’s hands and started going towards the elevator.
“Thank god I had security, but he was in the back looking. The whole thing went down in seconds. It was, and that’s at Neiman Marcus, but I guess it makes sense if you’re looking for kids that come from wealth.”
Adrienne says the cops were called to the scene
Delving further into Adrienne’s terrifying ordeal 19 years ago, Cynthia asked: “She just came up and took the baby out your nanny’s arms?”
Adrienne confirmed it was “like a kidnapping situation,” adding: “Yeah. It was terrible. Cops came. It was terrible.”
Responding to Cynthia, she said: “…The security came. It was freaky, but that’s how quickly it can happen.”
She added: “Yes, and my nanny was like, I’m like, ‘Oh my god. No, no, no, no,’ and she’s running towards the elevator, the escalator, you know, going down and security comes over and then they call the police, and we were watching and she was a little weird. She was by herself and you know upstairs where the men’s department is and the little restaurant there or the little bar there?”
When asked if the woman was “found,” Adrienne said: “They got her, yeah. They got her. Yeah.”
Speaking of her security, she added: “No, I was glad he saw it. He wanted to be away from us. We were just sitting there and give us our freedom, but no. He was on top of it. I actually thought, ‘Wow, thank god,’ because what if he wasn’t there.”
As Adrienne recounts the terrifying ordeal she and her family went through, fans can rest easy that her sons are fine nowadays. Her twin sons, Colin and Christian, celebrate their graduation this June.
Captioning an Instagram post showing her sons’ special day, she wrote: “Overwhelmed with pride for my boys and excited [about] their future adventures.”
Paul and Adrienne’s twins are 18 years old. While their eldest son, Gavin, is 21 years old.
