According to the SBU, its agents found anti-Ukrainian propaganda literature on sale in ROC church shops in Ukraine’s Uzhhorod, Zhytomyr, Mykolaiv, and Kyiv oblasts.
The seized materials included pro-Russian publications that promoted "religious intolerance" and valorized Russia's war against Ukraine. The SBU noted that the books were produced by a printing house in Ternopil Oblast.
A forensic linguistic examination confirmed that the content of the literature "justified Russia's armed aggression and incited interfaith hostility and religious intolerance," the message said.

The owner of one of the shops was charged with inciting religious intolerance and discrimination. They now face fines and up to three years in prison.
The agency added that the investigation is ongoing, and more individuals may be charged in the future.
