Russian troops continue to destroy Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region with shelling. Moreover, in the temporarily occupied part of the city, Russia has created filtration camps, according to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov.

According to him, the residents of Vovchansk have nowhere to return.

"We understand that they (the city's residents) will spend the winter and possibly the next year in places of compact living or in accommodations they find on their own. There are few people left in the territory under the occupiers, whom the enemy uses as human shields, and, according to our information, filtration camps have been created there," Syniehubov said.

According to him, up to 50 residents remain in the part of Vovchansk controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Military and police continue the evacuation.
