Russia strikes industrial facility in Poltava region with drones: Injured reported

On June 5, Russian drones attacked an industrial facility in the Poltava region. One person was injured, according to the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Philip Pronin.

“The Russian army attacked the Poltava region at night. Firing groups practiced on enemy UAVs,” he says.

According to the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, there were some strikes as well.

“Russia struck industrial facility in the region. One person was injured, but he refused to be hospitalized,” Pronin adds.

Russian drone attack on Ukraine

Russian troops are constantly attacking Ukraine with Shahed kamikaze drones. Wednesday, June 5, was no exception.

Russian troops launched 27 drones. According to the Ukrainian military, the threat of attacks was mainly in the south, Kharkiv, and Sumy regions.

Ukrainian air defense systems managed to shoot down 22 drones, including one that was landed by the Ukrainian Navy.
