Harry Kane now sends message to Heung-min Son and Tottenham, Son has responded

Harry Kane has sent his former Tottenham Hotspur teammate Heung-min Son a message ahead of the summer.

It’s approaching a year since Harry Kane left Tottenham for Bayern Munich and the England captain has excelled in Germany.

Despite a lack of silverware last season, Kane netted a staggering 44 goals in 45 games in his debut season at Bayern.

Spurs have also fared well without their former talisman under Ange Postecoglou, with the Aussie delivering a fifth-place finish in the Premier League.

Heung-min Son has stepped up after Kane’s departure after finishing the campaign with 17 goals and 10 assists.

The duo boasted quite the partnership at Spurs and are set for a reunion during the upcoming pre-season.

Kane sends message to Son and Tottenham ahead of pre-season friendly

Tottenham are set to face Bayern on August 10th in a pre-season friendly as part of The Coupang Play Series.

It will see Kane face his former side for the first time since leaving for the Bundesliga last summer while Son will return to South Korea, with the friendly set to take place at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.

Tottenham’s all-time top goalscorer has been speaking to Coupang Play ahead of the reunion and sent a message to Son.

Kane said: “Hi Sonny. I heard you’re going to be back in Korea this summer so we’re going to be there as well, FC Bayern against Tottenham. All the best.”

“Hi H. I hope you’re well. Really looking forward to our game. You know the Korean football fans are really, really crazy so they’re looking forward to welcoming us. I hope to see you very, very soon,” Son responded.

Kane and Son’s lethal Tottenham partnership

Kane and Son are two players who are more than familiar with each other’s games.

The duo combined for a total of 47 goals in the Premier League, making them the best partnership to grace the competition. Son edges the number of goals between the pair with 24 to Kane’s 23.

It will certainly be bizarre seeing them line up on opposite sides this summer, even if it is just a pre-season friendly.
