Thatcham motorist Heidi Prout drank almost three times limit

A WOMAN was caught driving after drinking almost three times the legal limit.

Heidi Prout appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, April 30.

The 45-year-old, of The Haywards, Thatcham, admitted driving a Peugot on the A4 Bath Road in Thatcham on Saturday, January 13, after drinking more than the legal limit.

Tests showed 91mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in her system.

The legal limit is 35mcg.

Ms Prout, who was legally represented by Gianpaolo Damiani, was fined £120 and made subject to a 12-month community order.

No order for costs was made but she was required to pay a statutory victim services surcharge of £114.

Finally, Mr Prout was banned from driving for two years.
