Cesc Fabregas has suggested that he is a really big fan of a midfielder who has now been linked with a move to Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
Arsenal may be looking to strengthen in the middle of the park as they look for the final pieces of the jigsaw after coming so close to winning the Premier League title again this past season.
But it has also been reported that Mikel Arteta’s men are working on a potential move for one of the most talented midfielders in Ligue 1.

Arsenal are reportedly in talks to sign Youssouf Fofana from Monaco, with the 25-year-old available for as little as £20 million in this window.
On Planet Premier League, Cesc Fabregas was asked about what he would make of the idea of Fofana going to Manchester United, and his answer will please Arsenal fans given the current links.
“I played with him, funnily enough I never heard about Man United, I heard that he was going to AC Milan because [Paulo] Fonseca probably is going to go there, so let’s see where he goes,” he said.
“But a very dynamic, strong player, good on the ball, a modern type of player, aggressive, can jump, he’s box to box; I really like Fofana and I think he fits very well the Premier League style.”

The luxury of having Declan Rice is that Arsenal can target a wide range of midfielders and fit them into the team.
Rice has proved to be outstanding in the holding role and as more of a number eight, given freedom to get forward and try and make things happen in and around the penalty area.
Interestingly, Fofana can also play in both roles, having scored four goals and contributed four assists in the French top-flight this past year.
Given that he is available for £20 million and has the Cesc Fabregas seal of approval, he may be a signing a lot of Arsenal fans would be very happy with this summer.
