Putting in a flip pick in favor of UCLA for a California WR

Back in February, I put in a pick for 2025 Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei wide receiver Marcus Harris to commit to the Longhorns with 60 percent confidence. That followed a prediction from Justin Wells on December 23, who also had a 60-percent confidence prediction for Harris to head to Austin.

In the words of famous Los Angeles resident Jeffrey Lebowski, “I’ve got some information, alright? Certain things have come to light.”

Justin and I believe that there’s a program in the LA area that is more likely to win out for the 5-foot-11, 185-pound four-star: UCLA.

As a result, he and I have both put in predictions with 60 percent confidence for Harris to land with the Bruins.

Harris is ranked as the No. 171 overall prospect, the No. 19 wide receiver, and the No. 16 player in California according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a proprietary algorithm that compiles ratings and rankings from all four primary recruiting media services.

On3 ranks him as the No. 230 overall prospect, the No. 33 wide receiver, and the No. 20 player in California.
