The 14 Man City stars at Euro 2024: All their group stage fixtures, kick-off times and how to watch

Manchester City have a massive 14 players competing at Euro 2024 and here is everything you need to know about their fixtures.

Given Manchester City are blessed with one of the best collections of international stars ever assembled, it’s no surprise the majority of them will be at Euro 2024 this summer.

A huge 14 members of Pep Guardiola’s squad will be heading to Germany with only a couple of eligible players missing out.

Jack Grealish is the biggest omission after he was cut from Gareth Southgate’s 26-man squad, while Kalvin Phillips and Rico Lewis weren’t called up.

Stefan Ortega didn’t make the Germany squad while Erling Haaland and Oscar Bobb’s Norway didn’t qualify for the tournament

Nearly everyone else will be in Germany this summer and here is all you need to know about the games they will be playing in.

England are favourites to win Euro 2024 but if Southgate’s side are finally to realise their promise then they will need City’s stars to be at the top of their game.

Kyle Walker and John Stones might be the most important of the quartet given the Three Lions’ injury woes on the left side of defence.

Harry Maguire hasn’t made the tournament and Luke Shaw is a huge doubt.

There remains intrigue around where, maybe even if, Phil Foden will play. Many have him pegged for a spot on the left wing with Jude Bellingham getting the nod centrally.

If the ‘Stockport Iniesta’ can reproduce his club form for his country then England could well lift the trophy.

City also have a strong Portuguese contingent heading to Germany, including Joao Cancelo who spent the last season out on loan at Barcelona.

Ruben Dias and Bernardo Silva were obvious picks for Roberto Martinez but Matheus Nunes was initially left out.

The versatile midfielder earned a late call-up to the squad after Otavio pulled out through injury.

Portugal are also among the favourites to win the Euros and their immense strength in depth could help them do so.

City have two Belgians competing in Germany in the shapes of Kevin De Bruyne and Jeremy Doku.

Both enjoyed strong ends to the past season, especially De Bruyne who registered a stunning 18 assists and six goals in just 26 games.

Both will be starters for a Red Devils that has seen its golden generation pass but still has the quality to be dangerous with the Blues duo and Romelu Lukaku.

Another City pair heading to the same international camp are Josko Gvardiol and Mateo Kovacic.

Croatia have been sublime in recent tournaments but are now an ageing side and could find it tough to get out of the group of death.

They will face both Spain and reigning champions Italy but a big win against whipping boys Albania could see them sneak to the knock-out stages as a best-performing third-placed side.

Spain – Rodri

Rodri is City’s sole Spaniard at Euro 2024, with Sergio Gomez predictably nowhere near the squad.

Spain have got a talented side but a lot of the stars are extremely young and it will be up to seasoned veterans like Rodri to help them advance to the latter stages of the competition.

City’s un-sung hero Manuel Akanji will be hoping to help Switzerland navigate Group A and advance to the knock-out stages.

Though hosts Germany are favourites to finish top, it’s quite an open group otherwise also containing Scotland and Hungary.

Nathan Ake will have a job on his hands keeping France’s legion of rapid forwards quiet when the Netherlands take on France.

However, they should be able to get past Poland and Austria to make it to the last 16 at the very least.
