Hottest situation remains in Pokrovsk direction - General Staff

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces persist in seeking weaknesses in Ukrainian defenses, conducting continuous assault operations. Preliminary losses for the Russian army on this front have amounted to nearly 200 individuals, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the past day, there have been 85 combat engagements.

Defense forces targeted 14 enemy personnel concentration areas, one command post, an ammunition depot, and a radio-electronic warfare station.

In the Kharkiv direction, there were two unsuccessful enemy attacks near Vovchansk. Defense forces continue to strengthen defensive positions and lines.

The previous losses of the Russian army on this front today amounted to 101 soldiers killed and wounded. Five artillery systems, 41 UAVs, seven vehicles, and a UAV launching installation were destroyed. Additionally, 31 bunkers and an ammunition storage facility were hit.

In the Kupiansk direction, there have been eight skirmishes since the beginning of the day. Defense forces successfully repelled seven enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Synkivka, Pishchane, Druzheliubivka, and Hrekivka. Fighting continues in the area of Andriivka. The situation is under control.

In the Lyman direction, the number of clashes has increased to nine. Russian forces attempted to advance in the areas of Terni, Novosadove, Torske, and Serebrianske Forestry. All attacks were repelled by Ukrainian defenders. No losses of positions were allowed.

Throughout the day, the enemy made two unsuccessful assault attempts in the area of Bilohorivka in the Siversk direction. The situation is under the control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the Russian army attempted to attack Ukrainian defenders seven times in the areas of Kalynivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka. All attempts were repelled.

The most intense situation remains in the Pokrovsk direction. The enemy continues to seek out weak points in our defense, attempting to infiltrate the ranks of Ukrainian units through continuous assault actions. Battles are ongoing in the areas of Novooleksandrivka, Yevhenivka, and Sokil. Defense forces are taking measures to stabilize the situation and prevent the enemy's advance.

Preliminarily, the losses of the Russian army on this front amounted to nearly 200 soldiers killed and wounded. Three combat armored vehicles, three vehicles, and one unit of special equipment have been destroyed.

In the Kurakhove direction, the number of combat clashes has increased to 16. Russian forces are trying to advance near the settlements of Nevelske, Karlivka, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, and Paraskoviivka. 13 enemy attacks have been successfully repelled by the Defense Forces. Battles continue in the areas of Krasnohorivka and Paraskoviivka. The situation is tense, and measures are being taken to prevent the enemy's advance.

In the Vremivka direction, the enemy attempted to engage in combat near Urozhaine and Staromayorske. However, the Russian forces' assault actions failed. The Defense Forces are in control of the situation.

In the Orikhiv direction, the Russian army attacked our units four times near the settlements of Kopani and Mala Tokmachka. The attacks were unsuccessful.

In other directions, there have been no significant changes in the situation.

According to the Institute for the Study of War's report on June 6, the Russian army is pressing in the areas of Vovchansk, near Kupiansk, northeast of Siversk, northwest of Avdiivka, south of Velyka Novosilka, and near Krynyky.
