4 govt employees terminated over alleged secessionist activities

Srinagar:

The Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) administration has terminated four government employees over alleged involvement in secessionist activities.

Among those dismissed are two police constables, a teacher, and a Jal Shakti department employee.

Last year, the J&K administration similarly dismissed several employees for alleged ties to militant activities. Those terminated included policemen and employees of education department.

These terminations were executed under sub-clause (c) of the proviso to clause (2) of Article 311 of the Indian Constitution, which authorizes the government to take such actions in the interest of security.
