The 2024 European Championships campaign is closing in and there will be five Crystal Palace players in action.
It’s a testament to the outstanding work being done by Crystal Palace and Oliver Glasner over the past few months that five players are heading to the Euros in Germany.
This list includes four Eagles in Gareth Southgate‘s England squad with Adam Wharton, Dean Henderson, Eberechi Eze and Marc Guehi all on the plane.
The fifth player heading to the Euros from Palace is Joachim Andersen who has been named in the Denmark squad and will meet his four Eagles teammates in the group stage over in Germany.

Quite interestingly, all five Palace players will be in Group C for the tournament which kicks off on Friday as Germany take on Scotland.
For Andersen, his and Denmark’s tournament will begin a week on Sunday against Slovenia. He’ll then be facing England on matchday two. Finally, the group stage wraps up at the end of June with Denmark facing Serbia.

Thursday saw Southgate select his final 26-man squad for the European Championships and quite incredibly, it includes four Eagles stars, which is more than any other team.
For Wharton, Henderson, Eze and Guehi, the tournament will begin against Serbia before meeting Andersen’s Denmark on matchday two. Finally, the group stage concludes against Slovenia.
