‘This is on camera’: Frank Lampard claims £34m Liverpool player is even better than Phil Foden

Frank Lampard has been blind ranking some of the best wingers in the Premier League.

The Chelsea legend had to rank the likes of Michael Olise, Phil Foden, Bukayo Saka, Cole Palmer and Mohamed Salah.

Unfortunately for Lampard, with the way these blind rankings work, he didn’t have every player in the right position.

Indeed, Mohamed Salah was the last player to come out of the hat, and the only available spot left was at number five in Lampard’s top five.

However, Lampard wasn’t having any of it, and while he had to put Salah fifth in his list, he made it clear on camera that he thinks the Egyptian is the best winger in the Premier League ahead of the likes of Saka and Foden.

Frank Lampard says Mohamed Salah is the best winger in the Premier League

Lampard spoke about the £34m Liverpool man and where he ranks amongst the best wingers in England.

“Mohamed Salah should be number one for what he’s achieved over the past few years. Mohamed Salah should be one, this is on camera, Mo, Mo Salah should be one for what he has achieved over the past seven years,” Lampard said to ESPN on TikTok.

Salah the best Premier League winger ever

Salah may not just be the best winger in the Premier League at the moment, he may be the best winger to ever play in this league.

He’s scored more goals than any other player in this position, and he’s done it at such an efficient rate.

Of course, the likes of Ryan Giggs have won more titles than Salah, but in terms of individual impact there may not be a wide player in Premier League history who can come close to Salah.

Cristiano Ronaldo is there in the conversation, but given how much longer Salah has done it in the Premier League, you may even put the Egyptian above the Portuguese legend if you’re purely basing it on Ronaldo’s time at Manchester United.
