CITRUS COUNTY, Fla. - A 56-year-old Inverness man was killed in a crash that happened Saturday around 1:45 pm, according to FLorida Highway Patrol.
Troopers say a Dodge Ram driven by a 20-year-old Weeki Wachee man was traveling eastbound on Stage Coach Trail (CR-480).
Troopers say that just west of South Meredith Avenue, the Dodge crossed the roadway's center line for an unknown reason and collided nearly head-on with a Toyota Tundra.

Both vehicles rotated to a stop in the westbound lane and northern grass shoulder.
The driver of the Toyota, a 56-year-old Inverness man, died at the crash scene.
