Manchester United midfielder Casemiro is at a strange moment in his career at present, facing some uncertainty.
Right now his successful career is subject of a documentary in Brazil, set to be released on streaming channels in the country on June 15.
And yet, with the Copa America kicking off the same weekend, Casemiro finds himself left out of the Brazil squad, following a tough season for Manchester United.
Casemiro’s future at Old Trafford is on shaky ground. Manchester United proved able to beat Manchester City without him in the FA Cup Final, and the club are claimed to be looking to cash in and get his expensive contract off the books.

Lucas Moura wants Casemiro at Sao Paulo
The upcoming Casemiro documentary chronicles his career from the very beginnings, where he began playing for Sao Paulo.
This was also the club where Lucas Moura began his career, with Sir Alex Ferguson trying and failing to sign the winger back in 2012, losing out to Paris Saint-Germain.
Following a spell with Tottenham, which also happened to ruin Erik ten Hag‘s Champions League dream, Lucas is back at Sao Paulo.
And as reported by Vamo Futebol, Lucas is keen for Casemiro to join him at the club where it all started, and suggested he has already reached out to the Manchester United midfielder.
Speaking to TNT Sports, the winger said: “It would be a dream, one of the best midfielders in the world, and created here in Cotia too. Casemiro, I already said, hey, let’s go back, play a little more here together, recreate that duo!”
He is aware, however, that it is not too practical, especially with Manchester United looking for a huge fee – for a player whose wages are above what Sao Paulo can pay.
Lucas added: “I think his situation is more difficult, he still has a contract with Manchester [United]. He has a lot of wood to burn, it’s a more delicate situation, but if he wants, we’ll try to find a way here.”
Casemiro has made up his mind
The dream move to bring Casemiro back to Sao Paulo will have to wait. According to Bola VIP, Casemiro has totally ruled out the possibility of making the switch back to Brazil right now.
Instead he sees his next move playing in either the Saudi Pro League or even MLS.
Of those two options, it is more likely to be the Saudi options which emerges, due to Manchester United’s desire to receive a high asking price for his signature.
Despite the willingness to get his wages off the books, United do not wish to cash in on the cheap. At least, that’s the negotiating position as the summer transfer window begins.
