Garrick Merrifield has been looking for a second wife, AKA his Sister Wife, for years. He’s married to Danielle Merrifield, who stars on Seeking Sister Wife with him, and wants another long-term partner.
The TLC star’s Tinder profile has been doing the rounds online. Garrick Merrifield, 40, hasn’t given up on his fifth search for love, having attempted to look for a partner, such as Roberta, multiple times.
Garrick Merrifield resorts to dating apps
Seeking Sister Wife star Garrick Merrifield resorted to not just one, but 10 dating apps, including Tinder. His profile is publicly available, revealing he is 40 and looking for a “long term partner” for “monogamy”.
He is also looking for “ethical non-monogamy,” where all involved parties consent to have multiple romantic or intimate relationships. Garrick has shared one photo with his wife, Danielle.
Garrick’s interests are listed as travel, “gin tonic,” running, gym and hot springs and writes, “I am a loving and kind and passionate and caring man who believes in putting God first so he blesses everything.”
He looks for ‘monogamous’ partner
Hoping for God to “give his love and peace abundantly in the relationship,” Garrick writes that he’s “a business owner and love to start businesses.” He adds, “I love helping others and doing charity work.”
It comes just over a year after Garrick and Danielle welcomed a baby girl, Leia, into their lives in May 2023, as well as recently meeting a prospective sister wife on their TLC show, called Nathalia.
Nathalia and Garrick butted heads
Prospective sister wife, Nathalia, was not happy after finding out Garrick had a profile on 10 dating apps. He explained the reason he has so many is because it’s “not common to live Polygamist.”
While Nathalia was shocked, Garrick admits it was “very unwise and not the way he should have done things” before she asked if there is anything else that he needs to tell her.
Garrick says there isn’t anything he can think of, and “felt very disappointed in himself because he hates lying.” He later said he was willing to do anything it would take to show he loves Nathalia.
