Tom Sandoval is facing a sharp increase in bills but acknowledges how he “got himself into this mess”. It comes after he cheated on his ex-girlfriend, Ariana Madix, of nine years, who he shared a home with.
Since Ariana Madix was taken off the home loan of their shared property following their split, Tom Sandoval and his former girlfriend had to split house bills while continuing to live together.
Tom Sandoval pays over $8K in bills
Before Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix split, it didn’t really matter whose credit card any of the bills were on. However, things have seriously changed when it comes to paying house bills now they’re finished.
Tom’s former assistant, Ann Maddox, had to sort through their bills, including LADWP, pool cleaning, garden, cable and Internet, and earthquake insurance, equalling $8,314 each.
He explains how, in an email, he offered Ariana $600K cash as part of a buyout equivalent to them selling the property for $3.1 million, which is he claims is way above Zillow and Redfin value.
He admits he ‘got himself into mess’
Realising the financial damage Sandoval will now have to pay, he tells his assistant with his head in his hands, “I got myself in this mess. I just wish we could go back. We should go back.”
While talking about the house bills, the Vanderpump Rules star overhears Ariana returning home and claims he doesn’t want to be talking about it if she can hear what he’s saying.
The producer then tells Sandoval, who was on his exercise bike at the time, “If she does come out, I’ll make sure that you’re not talking if she can hear you.”
Sharp increase after ex left him
Sandoval told his assistant how refinancing and pulling Ariana’s name off the loan takes his bills from $10K a month payment, to over $20K, which he could only afford for six to eight months.
“That’s a lot of money. That’s a lot more Amazon Lives than he’s willing to do, for sure,” says his assistant, who questions if he can afford it. Ariana has since purchased a $1.6 million house in Los Angeles.
