Fox News this week hyped up a purportedly "eye-popping" revelation about Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson disclosing that she received concert tickets from pop star Beyoncé whose value totaled nearly $4,000.
However, Fox's report almost completely overlooked the far more substantive gifts that were reported by right-wing Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, who has disclosed accepting gifts from assorted wealthy donors whose value tops $4 million, or roughly 1,000 times more than the purportedly "eye-popping" Beyoncé tickets.
In fact, the only mention of Thomas in Fox's report came in the story's seventh paragraph and simply stated that "Justice Clarence Thomas also amended his 2019 filing to reveal two trips to Indonesia and Sonoma County, California, that he said were paid for by Republican megadonor Harlan Crow after they were 'inadvertently omitted' initially."

Many of Fox News' Twitter followers pounced on the network going after Jackson while almost completely ignoring Thomas.
"Fox has long been beyond parody," wrote progressive commentator Mehdi Hassan. "Don’t call it ‘Fox News’, it’s not a news channel."
Some of Fox's followers noted that there was nothing improper about Jackson accepting tickets since Beyoncé doesn't have any business before the United States Supreme Court.
"This explains her vote in Sasha Fierce v. Badu," joked user Clay Jones.
Others, however, were simply astonished by the gall of Fox News to go after Jackson while soft peddling Thomas receiving vastly more in gifts from top GOP donors.
"Hey, uh, Fox News I think you forgot one: Clarence Thomas—over $4,000,000," wrote one. "Maybe HE was supposed to be headlined??"
"The definition of intellectual dishonesty," wrote another. "Clarence Thomas has made a mockery of the court, along with his wife, and this is what one of our major ‘news’ outlet is pushing?"
