Fulham have held talks with a midfielder who was previously on Liverpool’s radar as the Cottagers search for a potential Joao Palhinha replacement.
Marco Silva looks set to lose his main man in the middle of the park with Bayern Munich once again aiming to snap up Joao Palhinha after missing out last summer.
TBR Football understands that Fulham have spoken with the agents of Andre as they consider making a fresh move for the Brazilian midfielder.
Andre has attracted plenty of interest in the Premier League, with Liverpool heavily linked with a move last year.
Fulham have previously looked closely at Andre and in the last 12 months have come close to signing him.

Fulham hold talks with Andre’s agents
Now with Joao Palhinha heading out of Craven Cottage – Fulham are assessing a number of midfielders who they could look to bring in. The likes of Benfica’s Florentino Luis and Sporting Lisbon’s Martin Hjulmand are two on their radar.
However, Andre is a player they admire and is now back under consideration, but TBR is told that Fulham are not alone in showing an interest with the likes of Brentford and Southampton also linked to the player – who Liverpool looked closely at last year.
Our sources believe Monaco, Atalanta, Stuttgart and Porto are amongst the European sides also keen on the 22-year-old.

Andre could replace Palhinha at Fulham
With Palhinha’s exit looking likelier by the day, Andre would be an ideal replacement for the Portuguese midfielder.
The 22-year-old has already been linked with moves to a host of top Premier League sides, including Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester United.
Despite missing out on Brazil’s Copa America 2024 squad, Andre has earned rave reviews after impressing for Fluminense.
The ‘special’ midfielder also played a key role for the Brazilian outfit when they scooped the Copa Libertadores in 2023.
