There’s a major feud going down in the Bravo family. Captain Lee Rosbach of Below Deck is being accused of lying to Summer House star, Carl Radke, after he invited him on his podcast to have his say.
Carl Radke split up with Lindsay Hubbard on Summer House. The former couple were due to have a wedding, which was subsequently called off, but somehow, a Below Deck captain is bearing the brunt.
Captain Lee accused of lying to Carl
Captain Lee has revealed on his Salty With Captain Lee podcast how Carl Radke accused him of deception. He also claims the Summer House star believes the captain “took advantage”.
“If there was something he didn’t want to answer, we didn’t put him on the spot. It was a softball interview. I would have never done something intentionally to put Carl on the spot,” Lee remarks.
Carl suggested Lindsay unfairly painted him as the split’s villain. Lee said, “I gave Carl an opportunity to be on the podcast and tell it as he saw it. If there was a question he wanted [to be] taken off, we took it off.”
The interview comes after Carl was not ready to marry Lindsay Hubbard. He said at the time of the wedding being called off: “I believe in having a stable relationship before you celebrate a wedding, and we were not in that position, I believe, to move forward with the wedding.”
The former couple clashed over his next career move, how helpful he’s been with wedding planning, and the use of the word “babe”. He broke up with her months before their November 2023 wedding date.
Below Deck star denies lying
Captain Lee is denying that he ever lied to Carl. He said, “Mr. Radke, you were never deceived by me,” and agreed to the Summer House star’s instruction not to air the interview.
“I thought we had a very solid relationship considering our background together,” he said. “No good deed goes unpunished.” They formed a close bond years ago when Carl confided in Lee about sobriety.
Rosbach, who has been sober for many years, offered guidance and support to Carl during that challenging time. The two even appeared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen together.
