Ben White names his favourite teammate at Arsenal, he makes everything 'easier' for him

Ben White has revealed his favourite teammate to play with at Arsenal, with the 26-year-old claiming he makes everything ‘easier’ for him.

The former Brighton & Hove Albion defender has been one of Arsenal’s best players over the last two campaigns since being converted into a right-back, with White making Alan Shearer’s Premier League Team of the Season for his form this year.

With the defender making himself unavailable for international selection, White will return to Arsenal this summer fully refreshed and ready for the new season, where the fullback will want to bring the Premier League title back to north London.

And White has now shared who his favourite teammate in the Arsenal squad is.

White reveals love for playing behind Arsenal star Bukayo Saka

Speaking on World Beaters, White shared his love for playing with Bukayo Saka, with the pair creating arguably the strongest right-hand side in the Premier League based off their form in the last two seasons.

Given that both players are also hardly injured, Saka and White’s understanding and dynamic is one of the best in English football, with the duo influential behind how Arsenal attack and how Mikel Arteta sets up his side.

And perhaps unsurprisingly, White has noted that Saka is one of his favourite Arsenal players to play with, with the England internationals two of the best in their respective positions in the Premier League.

White said on Saka: “Playing with him is a joy, and with him being in front of me, I see what he does to the teams we play against. When you have a player like that, you have to give him the ball, which makes my job that much easier.

Saka and White will be key to Premier League title push next season

Saka and White are arguably two of the first names on Arteta’s Arsenal teamsheet given just how brilliant the duo are together down the right-hand side, with the Gunners having everything needed in the two positions.

And for next next season, Saka and White will be key in Arsenal’s bid to win the Premier League title having come so close to beating Manchester City this year in the race for the championship.

With a full summer off, White will return to action more refreshed than ever, and with Saka as brilliant as he is, the winger will feed off that new energy from his defensive teammate in what could be a year to remember.
