The police are set to monitor a school leavers’ unorganised event at a recreation ground.
Sudbury Police will patrol Bures Recreation Ground in Nayland Road as students may gather there on Friday evening to celebrate the end of exams and leaving school.
Officers have confirmed that they will use their powers to ensure the grounds remain a safe environment for everyone.
On Facebook, a spokesperson said: “We want everyone to have fun and celebrate this milestone but it needs to be good natured and within the confines of the law.”
