Report: Chelsea are moving fast to try sign 'very gifted' PL player, but rival buyers are not worried

Chelsea are moving quickly in their attempts to sign a “very gifted” Premier League star this summer, but a few of their rival buyers are not worried yet for one main reason.

Chelsea have been fast out of the gates this summer by already confirming the signing of 26-year-old defender Tosin Adarabioyo on a free transfer.

It looks like the Blues are working efficiently behind the scenes to get transfer business done quickly for new head coach Enzo Maresca.

Apparently, they’re really pushing to bring a new talented attacker to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea move for £60m star doesn’t worry rival suitors

90min claims Chelsea are intent on signing a new winger this summer and are going after Crystal Palace star Michael Olise.

It is understood that the Blues are moving fast to try and sign the 22 year old right-winger.

The report explains that Chelsea’s interest in Olise is more advanced than Manchester United.

However, United, along with Manchester City and Newcastle United, are not concerned about falling behind in the transfer race for Palace’s star man.

It is expected that the French attacker will take time assessing all his options this summer.

The Chelsea Chronicle is delighted that Chelsea are trying to get the Olise deal wrapped up quickly, but perhaps it won’t be so simple.

According to The Evening Standard, Olise’s release clause in his Palace deal is worth roughly around £60m.

Meanwhile, GiveMeSport claimed that Chelsea have agreed personal terms with Olise already.

Michael Olise is worth fighting for

If Chelsea are to make one marquee signing this summer, Olise would be a great fit.

The Palace winger is a potential superstar in the making.

He scored 10 goals in just 19 Premier League games last season, so it feels like the young talent is ready to take the division by storm next year.

At the age of 22, he fits the profile for Chelsea as a young prospect. However, the important difference is that he’s already proven he can shine in the top league and is the ready-made product.

Described as “very gifted” by Gary Lineker on X, Olise is someone Chelsea should fight hard to sign above their league rivals.
