Many Aston Villa fans have reacted the same way to recent claims in the media that they’ve agreed to sell Jhon Duran to Chelsea.
Villa striker Jhon Duran, who’s aged just 20, is strongly linked with a potential transfer to Chelsea this summer.
Journalist Guillermo Arango reported via X on Tuesday that Chelsea have reached an agreement with Premier League rivals Villa to sign Duran for a fee worth around €50m (£42m).
The Blues appear to be going after the centre-forward despite his lack of experience.
He’s scored five goals in 35 Premier League appearances during his young career so far, playing a back-up role to Ollie Watkins at Villa Park the whole time as well.

A selection of Villa supporters on social media are all saying that they’d be delighted if Duran is sold to Chelsea for £42m in the summer window.

Chelsea fans should be a bit worried
First of all, The Chelsea Chronicle is concerned about the Duran links because you’re potentially adding more rawness to a young squad at Stamford Bridge already.
On top of that, the way Villa fans above are reacting is quite telling.
There’s still plenty of conflicting transfer rumours doing the rounds, so Duran is far from a Chelsea player yet at this moment in time.
