Eberechi Eze is a professional footballer who currently plays for Crystal Palace in the Premier League – and will be heading to Euro 2024 with England.

Eze made a name for himself at Championship club Queens Park Rangers before joining Palace for £12 million in 2020.

Eze was born in Greenwich, London on June 29, 1998. He spent much of his youth playing for London clubs Arsenal, Fulham and Millwall before joining QPR in 2016.

Both of Eze’s parents are Igbo Nigerians – the Igbo people are an ethnic group in Nigeria. This means that Eze was eligible to play for Nigeria before making his England debut on June 16, 2023, in a 4–0 Euro 2024 qualifying win against Malta.
