West Ham could submit bid for 15-goal winger dubbed the Portuguese Jack Grealish

West Ham could submit a bid in the coming days for a 15-goal winger dubbed the Portuguese Jack Grealish, according to a recent report.

The Hammers have been busy in the summer transfer window as Julen Lopetegui is clearly eager to bolster his forward ranks.

Luis Guilherme is set to become Lopetegui’s first signing of the window and it now appears he’d identified another win.

West Ham could submit bid for Jota Silva

According to A Bola, West Ham United could now submit a bid in the coming days for Vitória Guimarães winger Jota Silva.

The 24-year-old is out of contract next year, so it’s unlikely The Hammers will activate his £16.9m release clause.

It’s thought that they’ll try to land his signature for less, though, after netting 15 times whilst laying on seven assists last term, it seems unlikely Vitoria will sanction a sale for anything less than his clause.

Silva can operate on either flanks and as a centre-forward, evincing his terrific versatility – an increasingly popular trait in the modern game.

Jota Silva dubbed the Portuguese Jack Grealish

Silva has been dubbed the Portuguese Jack Grealish because of how similar he looks to the Manchester City winger.

His compatriot Bernardo Silva saw the comparison and said that he’d send a selfie with him to Grealish.

“I’m going to send a ‘selfie’ to Jack Grealish. I will take Jota to Manchester to try to deceive Guardiola,” the 29-year-old said.

Silva made his debut for the Portugal national team in March but just missed out on the Euro 2024 squad.
