Report: 'World class' attacker has cut off all communication with West Ham and rejected them

A ‘world class’ attacker has cut off all communication with West Ham and rejected them, according to a recent report.

Julen Lopetegui has been desperate to make a fast start to this summer transfer window, with a number of names being linked to the London Stadium.

He was close to making Flamengo centre-back Fabricio Bruno his first signing but the Brazilian opted to stay put.

Luis Guilherme is now set to sign but he reportedly won’t be joined by a ‘world class’ attacker who West Ham wanted.

Wilfred Zaha rejects West Ham United

Wilfried Zaha has been rumoured with a move to West Ham for the last few weeks, with reports suggesting he was in talks to join The Hammers.

Further, there were stories claiming that Lopetegui’s side were willing to submit an official proposal for the former Crystal Palace winger.

However, Sabah now report that the 31-year-old has cut off all communication with West Ham as he wants to stay at Galatasaray.

It remains to be seen if Zaha was the one who rejected The Hammers or the other way around.

West Ham should focus on Crysencio Summerville

West Ham should move quickly on from Zaha and focus on plotting an ambitious move for Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville.

Summerville scooped the Championship Player of the Year award last term, netting 21 times whilst laying on 10 assists across all competitions.

The 2001-born wide player has interest from Chelsea and Liverpool, so West Ham face stiff competition for his signature.

A telling window awaits.
