57 national leaders to attend Global Peace Summit in Switzerland

Lucerne, Switzerland

"Thanks to this conference, Switzerland offers a discussion platform where all participating countries can put forward their ideas for a fair and lasting peace in Ukraine," the statement read.

The government published a full list of summit participants, including 92 country representatives and eight organizational delegates.

On June 14, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Switzerland, with the summit scheduled to open on June 15.

China, as expected, will not be present at the meeting. The list also confirmed the personal attendance of French President Emmanuel Macron, Polish President Andrzej Duda, Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshimasa Hayashi, UK PM Rishi Sunak, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, and Canadian PM Justin Trudeau.

On June 4, media reports indicated that Brazil would send its lowest-ranking representative to the peace summit—the Brazilian Ambassador to Switzerland.
