If you love Mountain Dew, this is your lucky week because not one, not two but FIVE new flavors launched this week.
The energy drink lineup just got a whole lot bigger, with some refreshing new options that are perfect for the summer.
New Mountain Dew summer flavors
First up, three new limited-edition Mountain Dew drinks have arrived on shelves across the US in a red, white and blue theme, designed to “celebrate the great outdoors”.
Whether you’re heading out for a hike, packing for a boat day or hanging with friends around the bonfire, there’s a MTN DEW for every outdoor activity,” the drink chain said in a press release.

The three options are:
- MTN DEW STAR SPANGLED SPLASH: The perfect combination of berry flavors, in a dazzling red color.
- MTN DEW FREEDOM FUSION: A refreshing lemonade white peach flavor, in a frosty white color.
- MTN DEW LIBERTY CHILL: A blend of 50 flavors to create a bold midnight bluecolor and berry taste.
All three flavors are available in 20 oz. bottles and 12 oz. cans across all retailers that usually sell Mountain Dew for a limited time this summer – but that’s not all.
Exclusive gas station Mountain Dew
Another new flavor started rolling out this week that’s exclusive to two gas stations: 7-Eleven and Speedway.
It’s called Infinite Swirl and is flavored with a “blast of artificial pineapple and berry flavors,” the bright turquoise bottle says.
This is the first gas station-exclusive Mountain Dew in four years. Spark launched at Speedway locations in 2020.
Mountain Dew Cyclone was a Speedway exclusive in 2019 too, and Solar Flare launched at 7-Eleven back in 2014.
It comes as a huge number of sodas, juices and other drinks have been recalled by the FDA over harmful chemical concerns.
New Mountain Dew flavor at KFC
Last but not least, KFC has just launched a new Tropical Passionfruit Mountain Dew flavor across the US too.
It’s the chain’s famous Sweet Lightning, which is a Sweet Peach and Smooth Honey flavor Mountain Dew, mixed with Tropical Passionfruit syrup.
You can actually add the summery syrup into other KFC drinks too, including lemonade, Starry and iced tea.
