March Athletic Club members enjoyed great success as athletes took on a variety of events in the last week.
Firstly, on Wednesday night, the running club took to the first event of the Peterborough Grand Prix series in Eye.
The juniors raced the 3km, whilst the seniors took on the 5km distance.
Matthew Cumbridge was first home for the juniors in 11:59 and 3rd in his age group.
Liberty Sibthorp followed as she and brother Austin made their Grand Prix debuts.
Rowan Whittlesey had another strong run finishing in 12:29.
Andrew Jakeman led the way for the senior team finishing third in the race.
Luke Cumbridge was second home for the club and second in his age category in 16:34.
Steve Beasley and Mark Godfrey were next over the line as the pair continued their streak of close finishes.
Kanina O'Neil led the way for the ladies with her best time since injury and she won her age category.
Michelle Prior and Toni Alcaraz were next home for the ladies as the club enjoyed a successful outing.
Later in the week, the club had runners completing the challenge of the Sandringham Half Marathon.
Jim Reeves was first home in 02:03:50 as the club's improving athlete stars once again.
Jo Edwards was the leading lady for the club with a superb performance after an amazing training block, where dedication and determination were shown frequently.
Emma Reed was next across the line in 02:37:01 followed by Sue Ward in 02:54:22 as the pair moved towards the challenge of the Loch Ness marathon later in the summer.
